Automatically Expiring a Document

The document owner can use the Auto Expire option in the Document record to expire documents that do not have a periodic review.

  1. From the Document record, click Action > Change Expiration Date.
  2. Zoom to specify the new expiration date for the document and then check the Auto Expire checkbox. Once the expiration date in the document is met, SmartComm will automatically change the status to EXPIRED.
